This past Thursday, Microsoft and Ford were on campus displaying the product of their unique collaboration. The two companies teamed up to show students the new line of Ford vehicles that feature Microsoft Sync technology. These cars have an actual computer in the dashboard that allows the driver to have complete control over the car's entertainment and navigation system with the touch of a screen.

Google expanded its scope of operations into cellphone platforms last week when T-Mobile USA Inc. unveiled the first phone to use Google's own open source Android operating system at a news conference in New York.

The cellphone, called the T-Mobile G1, features Google Maps with StreetView, YouTube and Gmail according to T-Mobile officials.
